it's been awhile....

well it's been awhile since i've put a song out so i'd thought i'd give it a shot

Dancing in the moonlight...a midnight waltz if you will
Just us two, me and my evils...a heart of gold, an intent to kill

Lost sense of reality, the orchestra begins
The first verse is being played...the hypnotist wins
Farther falling from consciousness, I scream inside myself
I try clinging to my being, but it's that same, familiar smell
He draws me deep into the spell, he keeps me safe inside his hell

Black skies hide from me, this gen that shelters reality
I try to run away from this illusion
But I fall...
Back into space where time is misplaced
I can't escape this sick, twisted fate
